Who We Are

The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of West Virginia, Free & Accepted Masons, Inc. is the governing body of Prince Hall Freemasonry in the State of West Virginia, chartering and overseeing subordinate Lodges throughout the state. [Replace with the Grand Lodge's official description.]

Prince Hall Legacy

Prince Hall Masonry traces its roots to 1775, when Prince Hall and fourteen other free Black men were initiated into Freemasonry, later founding African Lodge No. 1 and, in time, the network of Prince Hall Grand Lodges that spans the nation today. Read the full history →
